Ideal Fish-Hatchery Tanks
When it comes to the world of aquaculture, tanks are required to not only grant viable habitats for fish, but also provide homes and hatcheries for breeding and keeping the cycle of life going for various types of fish farms. These tanks require specialist designs to keep the habitat and environment ideal for breeding and hatching various forms of fish within a controlled environment. Fish-farming tanks and fish hatcheries need to be versatile and modular to customise their functionality within their specific roles, and this is where Aquadam can provide viable solutions to the industry of fish farming.

Our selection of tanks that can be ideal for fish hatcheries and other fish-farming applications are our Smart Tank and Gunite Tank models, offering perfect designs for this specific application. Today, we will focus on our Gunite Tank model and how it can be a perfect solution for fish hatcheries.
The Gunite Dam
Fish farming tanks require open roofs in most instances, with the sun playing a vital role towards creating a viable environment for fish hatcheries. Our Gunite Dam offers a seamless concrete wall structure, reinforced with steel for durability and structural integrity. This tank model is available in customised sizes, with wall heights of between 1,6 and 2,4 m and tank radiuses of between 4,36 and 30,51 m to tailor your tank to your needs before it is built. As a result, the minimum volume of a Gunite Dam is 19 m³, with the maximum being 1569 m³, to give you a better understanding of how you can structure your own Gunite Dam to match the requirements for specific fish hatcheries and other fish-farming tank applications.
The Gunite Dam is maintenance-free, with a life expectancy of about 40 years and high levels of waterproofing to ensure that such a tank is ideal for hosting fish hatcheries and holding various other liquids as well. With high concrete compaction, this tank offers low levels of absorption to ensure the durability and integrity of the structure, granting long life and resistance against the elements.
